Let \((\Omega,\Sigma,\mu)\) be a finite measure space, let \(L_0 (\Omega)\) be the space of (classes of) all measurable functions on \(\Omega\), let \(\nabla (\Omega)\) be the Boolean algebra of all idempotents in \(L_0(\Omega)\) and let \(\widehat\mu: \widehat\nabla \to L_0(\Omega)\) be a strictly positive \(L_0 (\Omega)\)-valued measure on \(\widehat\nabla\), where \(\widehat\nabla\) is an arbitrary complete Boolean algebra containing \(\nabla(\Omega)\) as a subalgebra. The paper under review is concerned with the space \(L_p(\widehat \nabla,\widehat \mu)\) of all \(p\)-integrable functions form \(L_0(\widehat \nabla)\) with respect to the \(L_0(\Omega)\)-valued measure \(\widehat\mu\). For positive contractions on such spaces the authors establish an analog of the classical individual ergodic theorem.
