Properties of generalized decomposition systems similar to orthogonal systems (Q1603102)

In the present paper the author continues the study of decomposition systems similar to orthogonal ones and suggests a new concept of generalized orthogonal-like systems. The basic results such as the Parseval equality, the Riesz--Fisher theorem, the extremal property of decomposition coefficients are extended to the systems in question. The problem of measurability of orthogonal-like systems is under consideration. The criterion for a system to be a nonnegative generalized orthogonal-like system which can be viewed as the analogue of the Parseval--Plancherel equality is established. The author develops the methods for construction of the generalized systems similar to orthogonal ones which in particular produce some known systems of functions (Morlet's and Gabor's wavelets) starting from the system of exponential functions.
