Finite-time blow-up of solutions to semilinear wave equations (Q1604536)

This paper is devoted to the finite-time blow up of solutions to the semilinear wave equation \[ u_{tt}-\Delta u=F(u) \tag{1} \] for \((t,x)\in\mathbb{R} \times\mathbb{R}^N\), where \(\Delta\) is the Laplacian in \(x\). Here phase space is the Minkowski space. Using a modification of the so-called method of conformal compactification the authors simplify some existing arguments.
