This paper is devoted to the blowup estimate for the solution of the problem \[ \begin{cases} {\partial u\over\partial t}=\Delta u\quad &\text{for }x\in \Omega,\;t>0,\\ {\partial u\over\partial n}=u^p \quad &\text{for }x\in\partial \Omega,\;t>0,\\ u(x,0)=u_0(x)\quad &\text{for }x\in\Omega, \end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded Lipschitz domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) with boundary \(\partial \Omega\), \(n\) is the exterior normal vector on \(\partial\Omega\), \(p>1\), and \(u_0(x)\geq 0\). In the case of a \(2D\) disc with nonradially symmetric data the authors establish also the blowup rate estimate near the blowup time as well. Note that although the results of the authors were stated for the heat equation, their method also applies to other types of equations with nonlinear boundary conditions.
