The Ky Fan inequality asserts that \[ \left[ \prod_{i=1}^{n}x_{i}\biggl/\prod_{i=1}^{n}(1-x_{i})\right] <\sum_{i=1}^{n}x_{i}\biggr/\sum_{i=1}^{n}(1-x_{i}), \] provided the \(x_{i}\)'\(~\)s are elements in \((0,1/2]\), not all equal. The paper under review contains a stronger form of this inequality in the weighted case, as well as an estimate of the result obtained.
