On Schwarz alternating methods for the subsonic full potential equation (Q1604690)

This paper demonstrates that an additive Schwarz method converges geometrically when applied to the full potential equation provided that the true solution and the initial guess are everywhere subsonic. It is shown that the result to the transonic case is possible. Convergence proof is also presented. No numerical experiments are presented.
