This article treats the asymptotic behavior of strong solutions of the homogeneous non-stationary Stokes equation in an aperture domain \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n,\;n\geq 3\) (i.e. \(\Omega\) is a connected domain which outside of a bounded set is just \(\mathbb{R}^n \backslash\{ x\in \mathbb{R}^n: -a\leq x_n\leq 0\}\) \((a>0)\)). More specifically, if \(u(t)\) is the divergence free solution with initial value \(u_0\), the author estimates the asymptotic behavior for large \(t\) of \(\|u(t)\|_{L_r}\) and \(\|\nabla u(t)\|_{L_r}\) by \(\|u_0\|_{L_q},\;1<q\leq r<\infty\). This is a generalization of similar known results for domains \(\mathbb{R}^n,\;\mathbb{R}^n_+\) and exterior domains.
