Channel equalization continuously receives much attention due to noise and channel interference. There are two approaches to solving these problems: statistic based methods and subspace based ones. For fast varying channels and high noise conditions, small interval observations are needed. Such situations are addressed here. The models that are used can be divided into: SIMO (single input multiple output) systems (already treated by the authors) and MIMO (multiple input multiple output) systems. For both cases, matrix representations and algorithms to obtain the solution are constructed. For both approaches, simulations and comparisons with other methods are performed. The results clearly show the advantages of the proposed approach. The paper is of a high level in the theory as well as in numerical experiments.
