\textit{St. Kanas} and \textit{A. Wisniowska} studied in [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 105, No. 1-2, 327-336 (1999; Zbl 0944.30008)] the clas of \(k\)-unifromly convex analytic functions, denoted by \(k-\mathcal U\mathcal C\mathcal V\). An analytic function in the unit disc \(\Delta \) is said to belong to the class \(k-\mathcal U\mathcal C\mathcal V\) (\(k>0\)) if \[ \Re \left \{1+(z-\xi)\frac{h''(z)}{h'(z)}\right \} \geq 0, \quad |\xi|\leq k, z\in \Delta . \] In this paper the author defines a class of complex valued harmonic convex univalent functions related to the the class \(k-\mathcal U\mathcal C\mathcal V\) and obtains coefficient bounds, distortion theorems and extreme points for this family.
