Summary: We introduce a new class of sets, called \(\gamma\)-sets, and the notion of \(\gamma\)-continuity and investigate some properties and characterizations. In particular, \(\gamma\)-sets and \(\gamma\)-continuity are used to extend known results for semi-open sets and semi-continuity.
