Boundary integral equations of the first and second kind of numerical solution of the problem of diffraction by polyhedrons near interior resonances (Q1608257)

The authors analyze the computational efficiency of classical boundary integral equations of the first and second kind for wave scattering and the excitation of surface sources on polyhedrons near interior resonances. Grid boundary equations are introduced. In the framework of the computational schemes chosen, it is shown that stable numerical solutions can be obtained near grid resonances, whose accuracy is comparable with that of the solutions to combined equations.
