The author describes a method for solving Euler equations. The method is designed to compute free-surface flows, and can be applied to problems involving large elevation heads resulting in free-falling jets. The method is based on the technique of splitting with respect to physical processes, and a finite element method is used to solve the Poisson's equation for pressure.
