Let \(M\) be a real hypersurface in an open subset of \(\mathbb C^{n+1}\), and \(W\) a two-sided wedge in \(M\) with a maximally real edge \(E\subset M\). Set \(N=J(TE)\cap TM\). The main results obtained by the authors are as follows. First they assume that at some \(p_0\in E\) the Levi form of \(M\) is indefinite and null in some direction \(\sigma\in N_{p_0}\). In this situation they show that there is an open neighborhood of \(p_0\) in \(\mathbb C^{n+1}\) to which all CR functions on \(W\), continuous across \(E\), holomorphically extend. Next they prove, under the assumption that the Levi form is \(\neq 0\) at some \(\sigma\in N_{p_0}\), that CR functions on \(W\) have a unique holomorphic extension to an open \(U\subset\mathbb C^{n+1}\) such that \(\overline{U}\cap M\) contains a two-sided subwedge \(\widetilde W\) of \(W\) having \(\sigma\) as a direction at \(p_0\). These results utilize the analytic disc methods, combined with an adaptation of the Baouendi-Treves approximation theorem for wedges.
