Approximation of functions from the Hölder class on a half-axis (Q1608592)

Let \(\Lambda _{\alpha }\) (\(0<\alpha <1\)) be the class of functions defined on the semi-axis \([ 0,\infty)\) which satisfy a Hölder condition of order \(\alpha \). The authors present an estimate of the rate of approximation of a function in \(\Lambda _{\alpha }\) by a family of entire functions of order \(1/2\) and type \(\sigma \).
