    It is well known that the irreducible representations of Virasoro algebras are well developed. One of the deepest facts is the classification of Harish-Chandra modules over the Virasoro algebras [cf. \textit{O. Mathieu}, Invent. Math. 107, 225-234 (1992; Zbl 0779.17025)]. The present paper discusses the indecomposable Harish-Chandra modules over the Virasoro algebras. The main result in this paper is that an indecomposable Harish-Chandra module over the Virasoro algebra must be (i) a uniformly bounded module, or (ii) a module in the category \(O\), or (iii) a module in the category \(O^-\), or (iv) a module which contains the trivial module as one of its composition factors.
