Extension of transient resolvents (Q1611269)

The main result states that (under mild technical assumptions) any submarkovian resolvent of positive kernels, with bounded initial kernel, on a Radon measurable space is the restriction of a subordinated resolvent relatively to a min--stable cone of potentials on a compact metrisable space. This is a converse of the well known construction of the resolvent subordinated to a cone of potentials, obtained by \textit{G. Mokobodzki} [Sém. Bourbaki 1969/1970, Exp. No. 377, Lect. Notes Math. 180, 239-252 (1971; Zbl 0208.36903)].
