The properties of the Radon transform between generalized flag manifolds are studied in the case of the exceptional Lie group \(G=\) \(E_7\). The method used by the authors is based on D-module theory. A canonical morphism \(\Phi \) between the D-module \(D_{X,L}\) of twisted differential operators associated to G and the cohomology group \(H^0(R(D_{Y,M}))\) of the Radon transform \(R\) is defined. It is proved that the morphism \(\Phi \) is surjective in the case \(G=E_7\) and that its kernel is the unique maximal proper \(G\)-stable left ideal of the considered D-module. It is also established that the cohomology groups \(H^p( R( D_{Y,M})) \) are vanishing for all non-zero degrees \(( p\neq 0)\).
