The duality compactness theorem [see \textit{L. Zádori}, Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 51, No. 3, 469-478 (1995; Zbl 0839.08006)] is a result of the theory of natural dualities for finitary quasivarieties [cf. \textit{D. M. Clark} and \textit{B. A. Davey}, ``Natural dualities for the working algebraist'', Cambr. Univ. Press (1998; Zbl 0910.08001)]. The author elegantly uses category theory to extend natural dualities to essentially algebraic theories.
