In this interesting paper, the author delves deeply into the structure of the \(H\)-trivial spaces \(X\) of \textit{T. Nogura} and \textit{D. Shakhmatov} [Topology Appl. 70, No. 2--3, 213--243 (1996; Zbl 0848.54007)] where \(H\) is a sublattice of the hyperspace of closed subsets of \(X\) on which the upper Koratowski and co-compact topologies agree. In particular, he proves that if \(X\) has the moving off property of \textit{G. Gruenhage} and \textit{D. K. Ma} [Topology Appl. 80, No. 1--2, 131--139 (1997; Zbl 0886.54013)] and \(C_k(X)\) is Baire, then \(X\) is \(K\)-trivial (where \(K\) exists of the compact subsets of \(X\)). If \(X\) is countable, then \(C_p(X)\) is Baire if and only if \(X\) is Fin-trivial and all compact sets in \(X\) are finite (where Fin consists of the finite subsets of \(X\)). When \(X\) is consonant [\textit{S. Dolecki}, \textit{G. H. Greco} and \textit{A. Lechicki}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 347, No. 8, 2869--2884 (1995; Zbl 0845.54005)] and also regular \(K\)-trivial, then it is Prohorov. The author gives appropriate corollaries and examples and provides an answer to a question of Nogura and Shakhmatov.
