This paper continues a study of Fréchet-Uryson properties begun in an article by \textit{E. A. Reznichenko} and \textit{O. V. Sipacheva} [Mosc. Univ. Math. Bull. 54, No. 3, 33-38 (1999); translation from Vestn. Mosk. Univ., Ser. I 1999, No. 3, 32-38 (1999; Zbl 0949.54005)]. Characterizations with respect to finite subsets are provided and consequences for lattices are studied. For example, it is established that if a lattice \((X,\leq)\) with the interval topology is Fréchet-Uryson at \(x\), then \(X\) is first countable at \(x\) . For lattice ordered topological groups, it is shown, for example, (with the weak \(l\)-topology) that the Fréchet-Uryson property implies a stronger Fréchet-Uryson property for a family of subsets where appropriate suprema exist.
