The author deals with the equation \[ x^{\prime \prime }+ax^{+}-bx^{-}+\phi (x)=f(t), \] where \(x^{+}=\max \{x,0\},\;x^{-}=\max \{-x,0\},\) the function \(\phi (x) \) is locally Lipschitz, continuous and bounded on \(\mathbb{R}\), and \(f(t) \) is continuous \(2\pi\)-periodic function. The author proves that, under some additional conditions, all solutions with sufficiently large initial conditions are unbounded as \(t\to\infty\) or as \(t\to-\infty\).
