The paper starts from feedback synthesis using coprime factorizations. It is shown that if a controller has been designed ensuring exponential stability of the closed-loop system and satisfying some structure constraints then stability and tracking properties are preserved under sensor failures modelled by zeroing some lines of the plant's output matrix.
