The aim of the present article is to prove that the iteration process suggested in [\textit{R. E. Bruck jun.}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 48, 114-126 (1974; Zbl 0288.47048)] converges strongly to a zero of an \(m\)-accretive map in certain real Banach spaces, being more general than Hilbert spaces.
