Isodynamical matrix differential systems are addressed, even in ill-conditioned forms. Numerical solution procedures either explicit (Runge-Kutta type) but not isodynamical of semi-implicit but isodynamical (preserving the qualitative features of the theoretical solution) are presented and their properties are investigated. Applications for balanced realizations are specified. Extended numerical applications including an algorithm for finding the Euclidean norm realization has been proposed.
