The authors consider irreducible curves over the algebraic closure of the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_{p}=\mathbb{Z}/p\mathbb{Z},\) \(p\) prime. They investigate the distribution on the torus of the images of the \(\mathbb{F}_p\)-points of the curve under a rational map on the curve.
