In [Acta Math. Hung. 153, No. 1, 75--82 (2017; Zbl 1399.54025)], \textit{I. Juhász} and \textit{J. van Mill} have introduced the notion of \(\mathcal{P}\)-tightness, as a generalization of the well-known notion of countable tightness. Given a topological property \(\mathcal{P}\), a topological space \(X\) is said to be \textit{\(\mathcal{P}\)-tight} if for all \(x \in X\) and \(A \subseteq X\) such that \(x \in \overline{A}\) there is \(B \subseteq A\) such that \(x \in \overline{B}\) and \(B\) has property \(\mathcal{P}\). A Hausdorff topological space \(X\) is said to be \textit{compactly generated} if a set \(A \subseteq X\) is closed in \(X\) if, and only if, \(A \cap K\) is closed in \(K\) for all compact subspaces \(K\) of \(X\). Given a cardinal \(\kappa\), a topological space \(X\) is said to be \textit{\(\kappa\)-resolvable} if it can be written as the union of a family of \(\kappa\) dense disjoint subsets. \(2\)-resolvable spaces are said to be resolvable. \(X\) is said to be \textit{maximally resolvable} if it is \(\Delta(X)\)-resolvable, where \(\Delta(X)\) denotes the \textit{dispersion character of \(X\)}, which is the smallest cardinality of a non-empty open subset of \(X\). In the paper under review, the authors generalize the notion of compact generated spaces to \textit{Lindelöf generated spaces} in the natural, expected way and investigate the resolvability of this class of spaces. The main results of the paper are the following: \((i)\) a regular, Lindelöf generated space with uncountable dispersion character is resolvable; and \((ii)\) a regular, Lindelöf-tight space with uncountable dispersion character is \(\omega\)-resolvable.
