This paper is dedicated to the study of Zalgaller's conjectures, which are checked by the author in 83--99. The paper contains 8 sections. The first sections of the paper are dedicated to the study of Zalgaller's conjecture and the last one is dedicated to the estimation of some special curves via Crofton's formulas. The author uses a mixture of topological and integral geometric techniques, as well as an application of the Borsuk-Ulam theorem due to Wienholtz and Crofton's formulas, to obtain lower bounds on the length of a curve. Also, he considered the special case of closed curves. His estimates confirm some conjectures of Zalgaller.
