The aim of the present work is to establish sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions for the boundary value problem (BVP) for the nonlinear fractional differential equation with Stieltjes integrals conditions in the form \[ \begin{aligned} & D_{0+}^{\alpha }y(t)+f(t,y(t),{y}'(t),\dots,{{y}^{(n-2)}}(t))=0,\;t\in (0,1),\\ & y(0)={y}'(0)=\dots={{y}^{(n-2)}}(0)=0,\quad \lambda [\;{{y}^{(n-2)}}]=\int\limits_{0}^{1}{{{y}^{(n-2)}}(t)dA(t)},\end{aligned} \] where \(D_{0+}^{\alpha }\) is the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative, \(n-1<\alpha \leq n,\;n\geq 2\), \(A\in BV([0,1])\), and the function \(f\in C((0,1)\times {{(0,\infty )}^{n-1}})\to [0,\infty )\) can be singular at the points \(t=0,1\). The used proof technique for the existence of positive solutions of the above mentioned BVP is essenialy based of the spectral radii Gelfand's formula and the Krein-Rutmann theorem concerning linear operators leaving invariant a cone in a Banach space. In addition, some examples are given.
