Chebyshev wavelet procedure for solving FLDEs (Q1630558)

The authors take the standard logistic differential equation and replace the first-order differential operator by a fractional derivative of Caputo type. For the numerical solution of the associated initial value problem, they apply a well-known approximation scheme based on Chebyshev wavelets. The formal algebraic manipulations required in this process are discussed in great detail, but the convergence analysis is at best superficial. Some simple numerical experiments conclude the paper.
