Let \(\Gamma\) be a finitely generated and purely loxodromic Kleinian group (i.e., all of its non-trivial elements are loxodromic ones) and set \(M={\mathbb H}^{3}/\Gamma\) the hyperbolic \(3\)-manifold uniformized by \(\Gamma\). Consider a collection \(\{\rho_{\alpha}:\Gamma \to \text{PSL}_{2}({\mathbb C}): \alpha \in \Lambda\}\), where each \(\rho_{\alpha}\) is a faithfull discrete purely loxodromic representation of \(\Gamma\). Set \(M_{\alpha}={\mathbb H}^{3}/\rho_{\alpha}(\Gamma)\) the hyperbolic \(3\)-manifold uniformized by \(\rho_{\alpha}(\Gamma)\). For each \(\alpha \in \Lambda\) there is homotopy equivalence \(f_{\alpha}:M \to M_{\alpha}\) inducing \(\rho_{\alpha}\) at the level of the fundamental groups. There is associated a bounded \(3\)-coclycle \(\hat{\omega}_{\alpha}:C_{3}(M;{\mathbb R}) \to {\mathbb R}\), for which, for each singular \(3\)-simplex \(\sigma:\Delta_{3} \to M\), the value \(\hat{\omega}_{\alpha}(\sigma)\) is the hyperbolic volume of the unique totally geodesic hyperbolic tetrahedron whose vertices coincides with the \(f_{\alpha} \circ \sigma\) images of the vertices of \(\Delta_{3}\). This produces a class \([\hat{\omega}_{\alpha}] \in H_{b}^{3}(M;{\mathbb R})\) (bounded cohomology of \(M\) of degree \(3\)). One of the main results in the paper is the following. Under the assumption that, for every \(\alpha, \beta \in \Lambda\), \(\alpha \neq \beta\), the hyperbolic \(3\)-manifolds \(M_{\alpha}\) and \(M_{\beta}\) have at least one different geometrically infinite end, the author proves that the set \(\{[\hat{\omega}_{\alpha}]: \alpha \in \Lambda\}\) is a linearly independent set in \(H_{b}^{3}(M;{\mathbb R})\). Another result concerns uniform separation in pseudo-norm for finite \(\Lambda\), and also faithfull discrete representations for \(\Gamma\) (with at least two geometrically infinite ends) being isomorphic to the fundamental group of a closed orientable surface of genus at least two.
