Let \(M\) be a closed \(n\)-dimensional manifold, and let \(u\in H^1_{dR}(M;\mathbb{R})\) be a nontrivial de Rham cohomology class. Let \(\alpha\) be a Morse 1-form in the class \(u\) without centers, i.e. the local primitives of \(\alpha\) are Morse functions without critical points of index \(0\) or \(n\). The authors prove that, for any Morse 1-form \(\alpha'\) that is obtained from \(\alpha\) by creating a cancelling pair of zeroes of indices \(k\) and \(k+1\), some \(1\le k\le n-2\), there exists a pseudo-gradient \(X'\) for \(\alpha'\) such that the differential \(\partial^{X'}\) in the Novikov complex of \((\alpha',X')\) has at least one incidence coefficient which is an infinite series in the Novikov ring \(\Lambda_u\).
