This book presents a collection of known and new results on evolutional nonlinear systems which appear in a variety of applications in physics, mechanics, economy, biology and chemistry. Mathematical analysis of such systems includes existence, uniqueness and regularity of weak (or generalized) solutions, convergence results for solutions and their approximation as well as their asymptotic behavior of solutions in time. The book contains three parts. In the first part, existence results for first and second order operator differential equations and inclusions are presented. Applications to evolutional variational inequalities and nonlinear parabolic equations in divergence form are studied. This part addresses also several numerical approaches for approximate solution of nonlinear systems, their convergence, and regularity results. Finally, recent advances on regularity of solutions to 3D Navier-Stokes equation are provided. The second part deals with convergence results in strongest topologies. It covers three major topics. Convergence results for weak solutions of nonautonomous reaction-diffusion equations with the Carathéodory nonlinearity are delivered and successfully used to study various problems including FitzHugh-Nagumo systems, Lotka-Volterra systems with diffusion, and complex Ginzburg-Landau equations. Next, convergence results for weak solutions of feedback control problems are reviewed with interesting applications to impulsive feedback control problems in mechanics, and mathematical problems of biology and climatology. Finally, strongest convergence results are discussed for weak solutions of differential-operator equations and inclusions with applications to nonlinear parabolic equations in divergence form, parabolic problems with nonpolynomial growth, nonlinear stochastic equations of parabolic type, general parabolic and hyperbolic problems, and unilateral problems with multivalued nonmonotone operators. The third part is devoted to uniform global behavior of solutions which cover uniform attractors, flattening and entropy. Global qualitative and quantitative study on dissipative dynamical systems, first- and second-order operator differential equations and inclusions, and evolution variational inequalities with possibly nonmonotone potentials are considered. Indirect Lyapunov method for autonomous dynamical systems, exponential attractors, and Kolmogorov entropy are also established. Each chapter of the book is supplemented by a separate list of references. The book contains also a nice introduction on basic classes of problems presented with some historical comments. The entire book is clearly written, uses a modern notation and without a doubt it can be recommended to all researchers in this interesting field.
