This paper is similar to a previous work of the authors [Port. Math. (N.S.) 66, No. 3, 303--320 (2009; Zbl 1174.14019)], in the sense that they compare analogous notions on integrable connections and \(\mathcal D\)-modules in both of them. More concretly, the main result of the paper under review relates regular holonomic \(\mathcal D\)-modules and regular connections (with possible poles along a strict normal crossing divisor). Most pages of the paper are devoted to a first section on generalities on connections and \(\mathcal D\)-modules and a second one focused on a discussion of the definitions of regularity in both settings. After them, the main result is stated, together with several additional remarks. The note is well written and is a useful reference for a result that, despite being folklore, was not in the literature.
