The almost contact metric hypersurfaces with small type numbers in \(W_4\)-manifolds (Q1647263)

An orientable hypersurface in an almost Hermitian manifold carries an almost contact metric structure. In this short note the author considers hypersurfaces in almost Hermitian manifolds of Gray-Hervella type \(W_4\), a class which contains locally conformally Kähler manifolds. The main result is that if the type of the hypersurface, that is, the rank of the shape operator, is 0 or 1, then the induced almost contact metric structures coincide.
