On square metrics of scalar flag curvature (Q1650011)

The authors study the problem whether a Finsler metric of scalar flag curvature is locally projectivey flat. They consider a special class of Finsler metrics-square metrics which are defined by a Riemannian metric and a 1-form on a smooth manifold. They show that in dimension $n\geq 3$, any square metric is of scalar flag curvature if and only if it is locally projectivey flat.
