Invariant generalized functions supported on an orbit (Q1650041)

The space of invariant generalized functions, supported on an orbit of the action of a Nash group on a Nash manifold, are studied. Nash manifolds are generalizations of real algebraic manifolds. So in most places in this paper the word ``Nash'' can safely be replaced by ``smooth real algebraic''. Some properties are proved and several methods of computation of the aforementioned functions are introduced. As an illustration of the author's methods calculations for the adjoint action of \(\mathrm{GL}_3(\mathbb C)\) are presented. The main tool in this article is the notion of generalized functions on a real algebraic stack.
