This paper studies spectral properties of Schrödinger operators on unbounded Lipshitz domains subject to various boundary conditions. The authors prove strict inequalities between the eigenvalues of the corresponding operators with different boundary conditions. The proof is based on an idea of \textit{N. Filonov} [St. Petersbg. Math. J. 16, No. 2, 413--416 (2005); translation from Algebra Anal. 16, No. 2, 172--176 (2004; Zbl 1078.35081)] in bounded domain settings and the unique continuation principle. Moreover, the authors also establish a strict inequality between the eigenvalues of two different elliptic differential operators on the same domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions.
