Archimedean Godement-Jacquet zeta integrals and test functions (Q1651989)

This paper explicitly computes the Archimedean Jacquet-Godement zeta integrals of \(\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{R})\). Applying the tools of theta correspondence and joint harmonics, the author uses an explicit test function in terms of the Langlands parameters such that the resulting Jacquet-Godement zeta integral is equal to the principal \(L\)-function. The author points out that the method of the paper works for \(\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{C})\) and \(\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{H})\) as well, and may have potential applications to other zeta integrals.
