The paper studies continuity of the correspondence between quasi-representations of a countable discrete group \(\Gamma\) and almost flat bundles on its classifying space \(B\Gamma\) when the latter is a finite simplicial complex. Under the assumption that the full \(K\)-theory assembly map \(\mu:K_0(B\Gamma)\to K_0(C^*(\Gamma))\) is bijective, it is shown that all elements of \(K^0(B\Gamma)\) are almost flat modulo torsion iff the full group \(C^*\)-algebra \(C^*(\Gamma)\) is \(K\)-theoretically MF. The latter means that any group homomorphism \(h:K_0(C^*(\Gamma))\to\mathbb Z\) is implemented by pairs of discrete asymptotic homomorphisms of \(\Gamma\).
