The paper is devoted to studying controllability properties of nonlinear reaction-diffusion systems which model the electrical activity in the heat. This system includes one-dimensional monodomain equations with the FitzHugh-Nagumo and Rogers-McCulloch ionic models. The paper's structure is as follows. First, in the Introduction, the place of the paper amongst the others is comprehensively justified. The main result of the paper (Theorem 1) is also formulated. Then (in Section 2), the authors present Carleman inequalities with moving observations and regularity results for the trajectory. After that (in Section 3), the author discuss the issues on null-controllability for linear monodomian equations and the local exact controllability to the trajectories for the nonlinear equations. The main result of the paper is proved here as well.
