This article investigates edge modes for a certain class of interacting Hall systems. The authors prove the quantization of the edge charge conductance and bulk-edge correspondence for a class of many-body lattice models. The models considered in this paper include the Haldane model in the topologically nontrivial phase. To obtain the main result, the authors provide a functional integral representation for the lattice model. Then, single channel Hall systems are analyzed, and the chiral Luttinger model is constructed. Ward identities for the lattice model are further obtained. The results of this paper give the first proof of the bulk-edge correspondence for an interacting many-body system. Invariance of a chiral anomaly under the renormalization group flow is a key tool used in the proof of the main result. The methods of the authors do not easily extend to multi-edge currents; this is left as an open problem.
