Special classes of monogenic functions in \(\mathbb {H}\) (Q1668588)

The author [Adv. Appl. Clifford Algebr. 28, No. 1, Paper No. 6, 19 p. (2018; Zbl 1394.30033)] provided a uniform approach to the construction of monogenic functions with line singularities. The paper under review studies the application of the Kelvin transformation to these functions resulting in another class of monogenic functions with line singularities which also has the generalized Appell property and a three-term recurrence relation. A subset of the new class is shown to be rational monogenic functions of a particular form. In the last section a unified schematic representation of the different classes is presented showing the similarity of characteristics and the relationships to each other. The paper is well written and rather self-contained. A somewhat lengthy introduction provides context for the study and sections are included summarizing main results of the previous paper, basic notions, and needed known results about orthogonal Appell bases of inner and outer solid spherical monogenics.
