The authors investigate a second-order difference equation coming from macroeconomics. They apply the center manifold theorem and the normal form analysis, thus providing the parameter conditions for the occurence of a generalized flip bifurcation, a Neimark-Sacker bifurcation and a Chenciner bifurcation.
