The authors study the Robin realization of the Landau Hamiltonian in \(L^2(\Omega)\), where \(\Omega\subseteq \mathbb R^{2d}\) is open with smooth boundary such that \(\mathbb R^{2d}\setminus \Omega\) is compact. By considering the spectral flow, they show continuous dependence of the Landau-Robin Hamiltonians from the Robin data (coming from self-adjoint pseudo-differential operators on the boundary \(\partial\Omega\)) in the gap-topology. This also explains the heuristics how the spectrum of the Landau-Robin Hamiltonian asymptotically tends to the spectrum of the Landau-Dirichlet Hamiltonian.
