The goal of this work is to rule out non-physical weak solutions of the Euler system (see, e.g., [\textit{T. Buckmaster} et al., Ann. Math. (2) 182, No. 1, 127--172 (2015; Zbl 1330.35303)]) by imposing some interior regularity on local weak solutions. The authors develop an interior regularity method in the spirit of De Giorgi-Nash-Moser, and show that local weak solutions are exponentially integrable. This is a Serrin-type regularity result under the assumption \(u\in L^{2+\varepsilon}_{\text{loc}}\). They also improve integrability for the vorticity -- which is comparable with DiPerna-Lions assumptions. This method is also used to give a new version of the proof of the classical Serrin condition for the regularity of the Navier-Stokes equations.
