The author studies the \(L^p\) norm of the Bergman projection \(P:L^2(\Omega)\to A^2(\Omega)\) on a smooth bounded strongly pseudoconvex domain \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). The main result has two parts. 1. The upper bound of the \(L^p\) norm \(\|P\|_p\) is of size \(p^2/(p-1)\), i.e., for all \(1< p <\infty\), \[ \|P\|_p\leq C\frac{p^2}{p-1}, \] where \(C\) is a constant only depending on the dimension \(n\). 2. The lower bound of the \(L^p\) norm \(\|P\|_p\) is also of size \(p^2/(p-1)\), but it only holds for a restricted range of \(p\), i.e., for \(p\in(1,q_0)\cup(p_0,\infty)\), \[ C'\frac{p^2}{p-1}\leq\|P\|_p, \] where \(C'\) is a constant only depending on the dimension \(n\), \(p_0>2\) depends on the domain \(\Omega\), and \(q_0\) is the conjugate exponent of \(p_0\). Indeed, the second part of the result holds for general smooth bounded domains which satisfy condition R, i.e., domains \(\Omega\) for which \(P\) maps the space \(C^\infty(\bar{\Omega})\) into itself. To show the main result, the author applies the Schur lemma and an asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel to derive the upper bound for \(\|P\|_p\). To find the lower bound, the author applies a geometric argument and considers a special bounded function on \(\Omega\). It should be pointed out that the result in this paper coincides with the previous result by Zhu on the unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^n\).
