The interesting paper under review deals with regularity of the weak solutions to the continuous casting problem \[ \text{div}\big(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u - \mathbf{v}\beta(u)\big)=0 \] with a prescribed constant velocity \(\mathbf{v}\) and where the enthalpy \(\beta(u)\) presents jump discontinuity at \(u=0.\) The author proves that, assuming \(p>2,\) any bounded weak solution of the two phase problem is locally log-Lipschitz continuous. Moreover, when \(p>1\) then any non-negative bounded weak solution to the one phase problem grows linearly up-to boundary near the contact points, and is locally Lipschitz continuous. The proofs rely on delicate arguments exploiting the Sard theorem for \(W^{2,2+\eta}\)-functions in order to circumvent the lack of comparison principle for the equations considered.
