The paper under review proves a Torelli type theorem for the parabolic Deligne-Hitchin moduli space, i.e., the isomorphism class of the moduli space determines uniquely the isomorphism class of the variety. The proof uses previous results about Torelli theorems for parabolic rank \(2\) vector bundles over curves [\textit{T. L. Gómez} and \textit{M. Logares}, Adv. Geom. 11, No. 3, 429--444 (2011; Zbl 1226.14018)] and extends the results of [\textit{I. Biswas} et al., Commun. Math. Phys. 290, No. 1, 357--369 (2009; Zbl 1184.32003)] to the parabolic case. Recall that a parabolic bundle over a curve \(X\) is a bundle \(E\) over \(X\) together with a weighted flag over each point of a divisor \(D\subset X\). Let \(X\) be a compact connected Riemann surface of genus \(g\geq 3\) The moduli space of stable holomorphic Higgs bundles on \(X\) is, by Hitchin, equipped with a hyper-Kähler structure and, then, it can be defined the twistor space \(\mathcal{M}_{DH}\rightarrow \mathbb{P}^{1}_{\mathbb{C}}\). On the other hand, Simpson, constructs \(\mathcal{M}_{DH}\) by gluing moduli spaces of \(\lambda\)-connections (differential operators satisfying a Leibniz rule) over \(X\) and \(\overline{X}\). In section \(5\), a parabolic version of the Riemann-Hilbert correspondence is used to extend the construction of \(\mathcal{M}_{DH}\) in the parabolic case. Let \(X\) be a compact connected Riemann surface of genus \(g\geq 3\). Corollary 3.7 proves a Torelli theorem for rank \(2\) parabolic Higgs bundles of fixed determinant. Corollary 4.6 shows the Torelli theorem for the Hodge moduli space of parabolic \(\lambda\)-connections (parabolic version of Simpson's \(\lambda\)-connections). Finally, Theorem 5.1 gathers everything together to prove a Torelli theorem for the parabolic Deligne-Hitchin moduli space \(\mathcal{M}_{DH}\). Results do not hold beyond rank \(2\) because they are based on [Gómez and Logares, loc. cit.], but they could be extended provided the previous proof holds any further. Also, results need numerical conditions on the parabolic weights assuring that semistability and stability coincide and avoiding singularities in the moduli spaces.
