The authors consider the Sturm-Liouville problem for a second-order equation with \(p\)-Laplacian and impulses at fixed times: \[ \begin{aligned} &-(\phi_p(u'))'=\lambda f(t,u)h(u')\text{ for a.e.}\;t\in[0,T],\\ &\triangle J(u'(t_j))=\lambda I_{j}(u(t_j)),\quad j=1,2,\dots,n,\\ &\alpha u(0)-\beta u'(0)=0,\quad\gamma u(T)+\sigma u'(T)=0, \end{aligned} \] where \(p>1\), \(\phi_p(s)=|s|^{p-2}s\), \(\alpha,\beta,\gamma,\sigma >0\), \(0<t_1<\dots<t_n<T\), \[ J(s)=\int_0^s\frac{(p-1)|\delta|^{p-2}}{h(\delta)}\;\text{d}\delta, \] \(f:[0,T]\times[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)\) is continuous, \(h:\mathbb{R}\to[0,\infty)\) is bounded and continous, \(\inf h>0\), \(\lambda >0\). The authors give sufficient conditions for the existence of one, two and three (non-negative, positive) solutions according to the values of the parameter \(\lambda >0\). As the main tool, they use variational methods and critical point theory. Examples illustrating the feasibility of the results are given.
