For the evolution of hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) with normal speed equal to a power \(k>1\) of the mean curvature, which is called a power mean curvature flow, it was proved by \textit{F. Schulze} [J. Differ. Geom. 79, No. 2, 197--241 (2008; Zbl 1202.53066)] that the level set (viscosity) solution of the flow is obtained as the \(C^0\)-limit of a sequence of smooth solutions solving the elliptic regularized level set equations. In this paper, the author gives an explicit rate for this convergence.
